Aphria’s Subsidiary Broken Coast Cannabis Doubles its Production Capacity

Aphria Inc. (TSX: APH) (OTC: APHQF) announced this week that the company’s subsidiary Broken Coast Cannabis has received a new production license from Health Canada that has nearly doubled its cultivation capacity.

The new license approves Broken Coast Cannabis to add 18,000 sq. ft. of indoor greenhouse grow space to the company’s portfolio. Broken Coast is currently underway on their “Phase III” expansion and this new license brings the company’s total cultivation space to 44,000 sq. ft. with the ability to generate close to 4,500 kg of cannabis annually.

Broken Coast Cannabis sells a number of cannabis strains, cannabis oil based products, and accessories that can be bought through their online store and shipped directly to Canadian homes.
