The Green Organic Dutchman and Epican Open Retail Dispensary in Jamaica

The Green Organic Dutchman Holdings Ltd. (TSX:TGOD) (OTC:TGODF) and Epican Medicinals, announced this week that the companies have successfully opened their first legal cannabis retail store in the city of Kingston, Jamaica.

This retail store will be the companies flagship retail store and is expected to provides them with revenue from the sale of premium Jamaican grown organic cannabis. The retail store is 4,000 sq. ft. and is the first of a series of retail stores to be opened by TGOD and Epican in 2018.

TGOD currently owns 49.18% of Epicans operations in Jamaica. The two companies currently have established licenses involved in cannabis cultivation, extraction, manufacturing, and retail distribution in the country. They have also recently started construction on a a 125,000 sq. ft. cultivation facility.

Csaba Reider, President of TGOD stated, “The Kingston dispensary is an important step in TGOD’s global strategy. Commercializing legalized, high-quality, organic medical cannabis to the market is proof of our commitment to portfolio companies and our ability to go beyond cash infusion.
