Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp Announces JV to Develop 1.4 million sq. ft. Greenhouse Facility

Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp (TSX.V: CWB) has signed a joint venture agreement with Canada’s largest greenhouse construction and operator, Peter Quiring, to construct a 1.4 million sq. ft. state of the art cannabis greenhouse cultivation facility. Under the terms of the joint venture, Mr. Quiring will become CEO of a newly formed company called GreenhouseCo.

Peter Quiring has 25 years’ experience constructing greenhouses across North America. He currently operates a cannabis greenhouse in Southern Ontario and also, is one of Canada’s largest supplier of tomatoes and peppers.

Phase 1 of the project is to develop the 1.4 million square feet greenhouse on 102 acres of land located in Leamington, Ontario. The building will use approximately 27 megawatts of electricity, built in with state-of-the-art automation, and a 100% closed-loop water recycling system.

Cannabis Wheaton Income Corp. plans to assist GreenhouseCo, and Mr. Quiring, in obtaining the proper licenses for cultivation and distribution from Health Canada.
