New York Hedge Fund Navy Capital Focusing in on Cannabis & Hemp Public Companies

Navy Capital is a hedge fund located in New York City that solely focuses on investing in public cannabis and industrial hemp companies around the world. Partners Sean Stiefel, who started the fund in 2014, and John Kaden, who joined Navy Capital in 2015, are focused on creating a portfolio the consists of both short and long term investments in the cannabis and hemp publics sectors.

Navy Capital is a unique hedge fund that currently has completed most of its investments into Canadian public companies on the CSE and TSX. Sean Stiefel and John Kaden are focusing on companies that own their own cultivation facilities, produce finished goods, and last but not least cannabis and hemp bio-tech companies.

 

In 2017 investments in the cannabis and hemp industries  lead to Navy Capital increasing by 127%, leaving the partners with more than $70 million at their disposal for further investments. In the first month of 2018 Navy Capital has reported to be up 28%.
